How long have you been in business?
Chroma Studio started in 1979.
What is your primary product or service?
Chroma Studio provides lighting and grip experience for video projects. We own a large amount of equipment that helps us achieve our client's goals. Chroma also owns and operates a Jimmy Jib for a variety of camera angle possibilities. Finally, Chroma continues to be a commercial photographer.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I graduated from Southern Illinois University, with a degree in Cinema and Photography. Spending four years working for other photographers, I started my studio in 1979 and haven't looked back since.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
For thirty years, Chroma Studio has not only done photography but also lit film and video projects. Our strength is the ability to do both without the client needing two separate companies to accomplish their goals.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Chroma Studio has an 8000 sq. ft. facility and is located in the quiet of Peoria Heights, Illinois. We have no plans to expand beyond what continues to work for our clients.

Chroma Studio is located several blocks off of Prospect Road in Peoria Heights. GPS programs do a better job of getting you to us than my description could.

'Within the last 10 years, the jobs we're hired for require a substantial amount of our equipment. That fact makes our service area primarily the continental United States.
